Hwange National Park

Nehimba Lodge Location Map

Nehimba is Zimbabwe’s exclusive photographic safari camp, inside a private concession in Zimbabwe’s biggest park, Hwange National Park. This remote and previously unexplored sanctuary boasts the famous and natural Nehimba Seep with many other pans. A truly wild and unspoilt paradise, situated on its own private wildlife estate, you can revel in the unique viewing of strongholds of elephants roaming freely without fences or restrictions.

Activities include guided game drives to view the Nehimba Seep and wildlife in modified open 4x4 vehicles and night game drives to introduce you to the nocturnal species such as hyena, jackal, porcupine, genet, civet and with luck leopard or a lion hunt.

Guests can also enjoy game walks and the thrill of approaching wildlife led by armed guides to learn about the surrounding vegetation and ecology.

The main lodge and chalets all overlook a large natural pan and salt lick where elephant are seen in abundance.

Nehimba has 9 spacious chalets built on decks from teak and canvas under thatch, all with en-suite elegant bathrooms.

The camp also has a swimming pool and guests can enjoy a welcoming camp fire or mouth- watering meals in the dining room or under the African sky.
