Zanzibar
The My Blue Hotel is situated about 50 km from Stone Town, in one of Zanzibar Island’s most beautiful spots, Nungwi, famous for its sunsets and for its sea. You will be stunned by the many enchanting different shades of blues of the Indian Ocean and of the splendid white, very fine sandy beach. Only 200 km from the hotel you can find Nungwi’s fishermen village, where you can admire the local craftsmenship and see the many local characteristic bars along the seaside in the vivid Nungwi area.
The restaurant offers Italian and international cuisine. In front of the pool, near the main bar, there is a relaxing covered area with a library, table games and an internet point free of charge.
The pool extends all the way to the beach, and there is also an outdoors whirlpool bath. Sun loungers, sun deckchairs and towels are availble to all guests.
Every room is furnished in a boutique-like decor.
Other activities include snorkelling and diving, and even kite surfing. Guests can also rent a fishing boat to go deep sea fishing. Another pleasant way to spend a few hours is to get a local fisherman to take you out on a characteristic local fishing boat, the ingalawa, geared with bar-bells and latin sails.
