The 5 Rivers Safari Packages include an affordable range of 7 safari camps, located in the prime wildlife locations that occur around the 5 major rivers in the region. You can choose just one or a combination of any camp to make up your dream Botswana holiday, and the rate if you book through Travel Butlers will be just US$500 per person per night - at any of the camps. This rate includes not only the accommodation, but all your meals, scheduled game activities, local branded drinks, a laundry service and Park fees where applicable.
The camps are:

• Splash - The Okavango Delta, Botswana
• Pom Pom – The Okavango Delta, Botswana
• Tau Pan - The Kalahari Desert, Botswana
• Nxai Pan - Nxai Pan National Park, Botswana
• Elephant Camp - The Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
On top of this, you just need to add the cost of the transfers between the camps, which we can quote for once you let us know what you would like to do.
These safaris only run between 15 November 2019 and 31 March 2020, which is the period known as the 'green' or 'Emerald' season in Botswana. Although this is traditionally seen as the 'low' season, it is a very special time of the year to visit Southern Africa.
The summer rains fall over these months, which brings a beautiful emerald green tone to the bush. Many animals give birth over this time, and migrant bird species arrive in their thousands. For the experienced African traveller and specialist photographer, this is the perfect time to visit Southern Africa.
The only restrictions are that if you choose to stay at just one camp, the minimum stay is 3 nights, and if you are booking just 2 camps, then the minimum stay is 4 nights (either 2 nights at each, or one night at one and 3 at the other).
