Private Safari Lodges in the Greater Kruger National Park
The lodges listed below are either located within one of the handful of concessions in the Kruger National Park itself, or in one of the adjoining private game reserves on the western side of the National Park (such as Sabi Sand, Timbavati, Balule, Klaserie, and Manyeleti), or in the nearby fenced reserves such as Thornybush and Kapama.
Morning and afternoon game drives in open Land Rovers provide unrivalled game viewing in the company of highly skilled rangers and Shangaan trackers.
The land is privately owned, so the game viewing vehicles are not restricted to the road network and it is therefore possible for the experienced guides to follow the wildlife through the bush and get guests extremely close to the animals.
Most of the lodges offer a fully inclusive safari including your accommodation, all meals, 2 game drives per day in open Land Rovers, and an optional guided bush walk each day as well, and some will also include all your drinks.
