South Africa is well known for its outstanding golf courses at Sun City, along the Garden Route (in particular at Fancourt) and Port Elizabeth.
The most popular routes with golfers usually include a couple of rounds at one of these famous and iconic courses, however their are countless of other gems to be discovered in less well-known places.
Away from the golf course, South Africa has more to offer than just about any other destination. From the beautiful city of Cape Town with its stunning setting, great beaches and countless attractions right the way up to the world famous safari experiences of the Kruger National Park, there is so much to do in addition to the golf that most visitors feel that 2 weeks is really the minimum length of trip to try and squeeze as much as possible in.
Whilst many golfers prefer to travel with their own clubs, the majority of courses are happy to rent out equipment meaning that if you are just looking to include a couple of rounds their is no need to bring your own clubs if you don't want the expense and hassle of taking them around everywhere else with you.
