Tanda Tula Safari Camp

Tanda Tula Safari Camp

Timbavati Game Reserve

Tanda Tula Safari Camp Location Map

One of the most luxurious safari destinations in South Africa, Tanda Tula Safari Camp is situated in the 60,000 hectare Timbavati Game Reserve, which is adjacent to the Kruger National Park. Guests can enjoy a true bush experience, and with no fences in-between the Park and the reserve, there is plenty of opportunity to view the huge diversity of wildlife that Africa has to offer, including the Big 5.

Early morning and evening safaris are conducted in open Land Rovers, and daily walks are offered with professional rangers and trackers.

The camp's focal point is the open-sided bar-lounge which overlooks the watering hole, where animals come to drink throughout the day and night. Guests can also enjoy a refreshing dip in the barside pool. There is also a secluded hide, library, a spa and a gym.

Dinners are served in a variety of venues, from private dinners on your deck, a barbeque at the water hole or in the river bed, to around log fires in a traditional open-air boma.  Tanda Tula's excellent cuisine is assured to enhance your bush experience.

The newly rearchitected Tanda Tula Safari Camp takes full advantage of its position on the Nhlaralumi River to create intimate guest experiences across the breadth of the camp. The hybrid canvas and glass suites open to an endlessly entertaining but incredibly peaceful bushveld setting. The interior design reflects South Africa's Tsonga people, the first custodians of this land. Modern luxuries ensure your every need is met.

There are 7 Safari Suites which consist of one bedroom and a lounge. The outdoor covered deck has a private plunge pool, ideal for dining and relaxing, with sunken bench seating – bringing you closer to nature.

and 2 Family Suites which consist of two bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bathroom and a shared lounge area and private plunge pool.
