Malherbe Guest House

Malherbe Guest House is a National Monument and was built in 1859. The house has been lovingly restored and offers 5 en-suite rooms.

The guest lounge overlooks the lovely secluded garden with beautiful views of the Langeberg mountains. Guests are welcome to take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool or laze in the shade in a comfortable lounge chair.

In the morning a scrumptious breakfast is served on the terrace under the vines overlooking the garden or indoors.

Directions For Drivers

From Cape Town via the N1 (including Toll Roads): Follow the N1 out of Cape Town towards Paarl. Continue on this road until you reach the R60 in Worcester and turn right onto this road. Follow the signs to Robertson/Montagu and at Ashton continue straight onto the R62. This road will take you into Montagu and the guest house will be on the left hand side.

From Cape Town via the N2: Follow the N2 out of Cape Town towards Somerset West. Continue on this road until you reach the R317 and turn left onto this road. Follow the signs to Montagu and turn onto the R62. This road will take you into Montagu and the guest house will be on the left hand side.

From the Garden Route via R62: Follow the N2 and turn onto the N12/R62. Follow the R62 all the way to Montagu and the guest house will be on your right hand side.

From the Garden Route via N2: Follow the N2 and turn onto the R60. Follow this road and then turn onto the R62. This road will take you into Montagu and the guest house will be on the left hand side.
