The Etosha National Park is Namibia's premier wildlife park, and home to great concentrations of game. Little Ongava is situated within the Ongava Game Reserve, a 30,000 hectare private reserve which is located adjacent to the southern boundary of the Etosha Park.
Little Ongava is built along the crest of a hill with wonderful views onto the plains below. With only 3 suites, it is a very intimate and private experience, and all guests share a dedicated guide and Land Rover to ensure optimum nature viewing at one of Africa's great wildlife destinations.
Activities include morning guided game drives in an open Land Rover into the Okaukuejo area of Etosha, where it is possible to see elephant, lion and many plains game including springbok, gemsbok, giraffe and hartebeest.
Guests can also enjoy day and night drives on the private reserve, which is home to resident white and black rhino. Tracking them on foot is a highlight.
Walks with a guide are also available, as are visits to a hide overlooking a waterhole.
The accommodation at Little Ongava comprises of 3 luxuriously spacious suites.
Each suite has its own plunge pool, en-suite bathroom, a 'sala', an additional outdoor shower, and a superb view of the waterhole in front of the camp from the private veranda.
The main area lends itself to relaxed and stylish dining under the African sky or under thatch.

Children Policy
Children aged 6 years and older are welcome. Rates available on request. Children under 13 years of age are not allowed to participate in walking safaris.
Directions For Drivers
From Windhoek: Follow the B1 north via Okahandja and Otjiwarongo, and then take the C38 to Outjo. Follow this road until the Etosha National Park, and the entrance to Ongava Private Reserve is on the left-hand side. Check in with the guard at the entrance, and proceed as directed to the lodge.
From Etosha - Andersson Gate: Immediately after you exit the Andersson Gate, the entrance to Ongava Private Reserve is on the right-hand side. Check in with the guard at the entrance, and proceed as directed to the lodge.:
General Information For Guests
Each suite has its sitting room, plunge pool and deck, en-suite bathroom with bath, indoor and outdoor showers, sala, a hair dryer, mosquito nets, a safe, tea/coffee making facilities, and a mini bar.
Each Little Ongava Guest room includes the complementary use of one of Canon 5D MKII, Canon 5D MKIII and a Nikon D7200 with 150-600 mm lenses.
Guests at Little Ongava share a dedicated guide and vehicle (max 6 guests per vehicle), ensuring the best possible nature experience. Day and night wildlife viewing drives, visiting hides overlooking waterholes, walks and rhino tracking with experienced guides can all be enjoyed exclusively on this reserve. Game drives and day trips into nearby Etosha National Park are also offered.
