Idube Private Game Reserve

Sabi Sand Game Reserve

Idube Private Game Reserve Location Map

Idube Private Game Reserve is set in the heart of the exclusive Sabi Sand reserve adjoining the famous Kruger National Park. Built under towering knobthorn and jackalberry trees, the lodge and its friendly and welcoming staff are dedicated to giving guests a genuine bush experience.

Daily game drives and bush walks with experienced rangers and Shaangaan trackers promise close encounters with an abundance of wildlife, including the Big 5 - lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo.  The extensive green lawns are irresistible to nyala and warthog, who freely wander through the gardens. A secluded sunken hide offers the opportunity to watch animals coming to drink at the dam.  Relaxing around the swimming pool is a great place to be in the middle of a warm day.

Hearty breakfasts and lunches are served in the thatched dining area and delicious South African fare in the bush boma is an ideal way to round off a wonderful day.

The 8 individually decorated chalets are all equipped with air-conditioning, overhead fans and mosquito screens for that touch of safari romance. Outside showers offer the perfect solution to a hot day. Private wooden decks are perfect to enjoy the tranquillity of the lodge and view visiting animals. The 2 luxury and secluded Makubela Suites and the Leadwood Suite each have their own private splash pool and a game viewing deck overlooking the bushveld.

Leave the main door open at night, safe behind the screen door, and listen to Africa's unique night sounds - the distant roar of a lion, or the cackling call of a hyena - and wake in the morning to the dawn chorus of hundreds of different birds.
