Check-In and Check-Out Times

If possible, aim to arrive at the lodge for about 1 pm, so you can check into your room and relax before your first afternoon game drive, but if you don't think you can arrive by this time, you should aim to arrive by 3 pm at the very latest, or else you may miss the afternoon drive.

Published Rates Include

All meals, all beverages including a top quality wine list and fine champagne, 2 daily game viewing drives accompanied by a fully trained and experienced ranger and tracker, daily walking safari accompanied by a ranger and tracker (subject to favourable conditions) and a laundry service (no dry cleaning available) are included.

The rate excludes aroma boma beauty treatments, private game drives (subject to availability), photocopying, telephone, fax and e-mail facilities, gift shop purchases, any road or air transfers to and from the lodge, all airport taxes and applicable Sabi Sand entrance fees.

Children Policy

Children of any age are welcome. Rates available on request. A childrens programme is offered, but children 6 years and under are not allowed on game drives. Children of all ages are not allowed on bush walks. Babysitting services are available.

Other Useful Information

Children over the age of 6 are welcome to participate in game drives but unfortunately are not able to participate in bush walks.

Younger children are not able to participate in the regular game viewing schedule. However, the lodge offers Cubs Activities complete with Activity books and a Cub's Club. Baby-sitting is available at no extra cost. Simple snacks and light meals for children such as sandwiches can be prepared on request.

There is an observatory for guests use, which is perfect for star-gazing.

Iinformative talks on flora, fauna and conservation can be done on request for both adults and children.

There is also a fully equipped gymnasium, and tennis courts with viewing pavilion (rackets and balls supplied).

The main lounge is equipped with DVDs, videos, music and a book library, and children?s books and games are also available on request.

Scenic helicopter flights over the bush to view spectacular sights such as Gods Window and the Blyde River Canyon can be arranged at an additional cost.
