Ukhozi Lodge
Only 80 minutes east of Port Elizabeth, a visit to Kariega Game Reserve is the perfect extension of your trip along South Africa's famous Garden Route.
Set high above the spectacular Kariega River Valley, the 5,000 hectare malaria-free Kariega Game Reserve is home to game and wildlife such as lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, hippo, giraffe, zebra, eland, wildebeest, waterbuck and a variety of antelope, as well as a myriad of bird species. Due to the diversity of activities on offer at Kariega, anything from 2 to 5 nights can be enjoyed, however, a minimum 2 night stay is highly recommended.
The golden beaches of Kenton-on-Sea are less than 15 minutes away, and horse-riding along the beach can also be arranged.
During the day and between game drives, guests can soak up the sun around Ukhozi's outdoor heated pool. In the evenings, unwind in front of warm log fires, enjoy sumptuous cuisine or simply share experiences of the African bush with fellow guests.
All meals, local beverages and 2 game activities per day (plus a cruise down the Kariega River on the Kariega Queen during one of your morning game drives) are included.
