Tshukudu Bush Lodge

Check-In and Check-Out Times

There is only one scheduled transfer to Tskukudu Bush Lodge per day, which departs at 2 pm from Bakubung Lodge. Guests must arrive at Bakubung Lodge by 1.30 pm for registration and to be in time to take the transfer to Tshukudu. Please note that no private vehicles are allowed at Tshukudu Lodge. Private vehicles are parked in secured parking at Bakubung Lodge. Late arrivals can only be collected after 5 pm and will miss out on the evening game drive.

Rooms must please be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure for the convenience of arriving guests. Guests will be transported back to Bakubung Lodge.

Published Rates Include

All meals, beverages, high tea with sweets, morning game drive or walk and an evening game drive are included. PLEASE NOTE: The tourism levy is NOT included - this is to be paid directly to the lodge on departure.

Other Useful Information

Guests may wish to avoid a large lunch prior to arrival as High Tea is served on arrival at Tshukudu Lodge.

The lodge is situated on a rocky outcrop and there are 132 steps to be climbed to reach the cottages.

Complimentary transfers from Sun City main complex can be arranged. Please advise prior to arrival.

Game Drive Times:
Winter morning game drives / bush walks depart at 6:45 am and afternoon game drives depart at 4 pm.
Summer morning game drives / bush walks depart at 5:45 am and afternoon game drives depart at 5 pm.
