Tshukudu Bush Lodge
Tshukudu Concession, Pilanesberg National Park
Tshukudu Bush Lodge
Built high on a hilltop and overlooking the savanna plains and a waterhole, the luxurious Tshukudu Bush Lodge offers sweeping views of the malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park, which is home to over 7,000 animals including the Big 5, giraffe, hippo, zebra, jackal, hyena and many antelope, and over 350 bird species.
Tshukudu is renowned for its tranquillity. The lodge facilities do not include radios, telephones or TVs, so guests can really cut themselves off from the outside world and truly enjoy the peace and quiet of the African bush.
Tshukudu's cuisine has a strong African influence, and is prepared to 5* standards. A splendid selection of wines provides the perfect accompaniment.
At night, sit beside the blazing far and enjoy the African night sky and listen for the distant roar of lions.
The exquisite bathrooms are tastefully decorated in an African theme, and feature a sunken bath that overlooks the plains below.
The rooms also feature an open plan lounge with fireplace, and a fully stocked mini bar.
