Tinga Narina Lodge
Tinga Private Consession, Kruger National Park
Tinga Narina Lodge
Tinga Narina Lodge is situated on the banks of the Sabie River, in a prime game-viewing area of the Kruger National Park.
The Sabie River has the highest recorded density of leopards in Africa, and one of the highest predator densities.
The Sabie River is also said to have the richest biodiversity of any South African river, with many endangered and rare species (mammals, birds, reptiles and plants) being found in the area.
Narina Lodge has a distinctly African feel. Like the bird it was named after (the narina trogon), the lodge is unobtrusive, yet undeniably beautiful, blending perfectly with the riverine forest vegetation. The main deck is on stilts overlooking the Sabie River, and the suites are connected by an elevated wooden walkway.
The suites are also all equipped with en-suite bathrooms, a large outdoor shower, mini bar, safe, air-conditioning and overhead fans, direct dial telephones, satellite television and DVD players.
The main guest areas consist of a library, wine cellar, boma, lounge, bar and boutique.
