The Homestead
The Homestead is located on the Kariega Game Reserve, a 5,000 hectare malaria-free reserve set high above the Kariega River Valley in the Eastern Cape.
Set in a remote part of the reserve with spectacular views, the Homestead is perfect for the sole use of a family or group who can enjoy a highly exclusive and unique safari experience tailored to their own needs. The Homestead is also equipped with its own 4x4 safari vehicle and experienced game ranger. Private game viewing may be done by day and at night, allowing for spectacular sightings of wildlife, including the Big 5.
A host of other activities are offered, including game drives, hiking trails amongst more than 25 species of game and birdlife on the non-dangerous section of the reserve, fishing, bird watching, canoeing, mountain biking, horse riding, and the ever famous river cruises on the Kariega Queen.
The golden beaches of Kenton-on-Sea are less than 15 minutes away.
Your stay includes the services of a private hostess and chef, as well as a personally appointed game ranger who will make every effort to ensure guests have a memorable safari experience.
A bar, satellite TV and playroom make this an ideal place for the whole family.
2 safaris (game drives) daily with the exclusive use of a 4x4 game vehicle with a private ranger, all other activities, local beverages, and full breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea with fresh bakes, and dinner plus the services of a personal chef are included.
