Lush gardens, tropical birds and water features give The Cascades its unique and relaxing atmosphere. A sophisticated, elegant hotel, all 243 elegant air-conditioned rooms and suites enjoy spectacular views over the gardens to the golf course and bushveld hills beyond.
Striking, beautifully coloured birds and fish are at home in the Cascades gardens and lakes which cover the gently sloping hillside. The gardens are laced with footpaths which wind between tens of thousands of exotic and indigenous trees and flowering plants.
The Cascades Pool and the Santorini Greek Restaurant are areas reminiscent of the azure blue of the tranquil Mediterranean. The restaurant, situated by the pool, is surrounded by glass windows providing an all season enclave. Alfresco dining takes place along the island promenade in summer and delightful gazebo's offer shaded areas where guests can relax informally and enjoy a delectable meal.
Alternatively, superb continental cuisine is on the menu at the Peninsula, a luxuriously elegant lakeside restaurant where a resident pianist entertains during dinner.
Guests can choose from standard or superior luxury rooms, some of which have balconies with views over the Sun City resort, or sleeper couches for families.
The larger suites offer facilities such as jacuzzi baths, dining rooms for 8 people, balconies, private pools and private gardens. The 2 largest suites have 2 and 3 bedrooms each, making these ideal for families or friends travelling together who want some additional privacy.
