Singita Sasakwa Lodge

Singita Sasakwa Lodge is situated in the 340,000 acre Grumeti Private Concession within the Serengeti.

Throughout the Great Migration months of June, July and August the area teems with game and in the dry season, after the great herds have departed for greener pastures in the north, the Grumeti River, which runs through the concession, draws in large concentrations of resident wildlife. Elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, gazelle, impala and topi all seek life-sustaining water from the river - so there are fabulous game viewing opportunities all year round.

The lodge also has spa, yoga and gym facilities, and there is a satellite television in the main lodge.

Fun activities such as archery, lawn croquet, stargazing safaris, mountain biking and tennis are all available.

The Equestrian Centre is situated adjacent to Sasakwa Lodge and is home to 16 horses. Experienced riders can enjoy out-rides on the Serengeti Plains. The tack is English style and guests have the choice of English or Western saddles.

Sasakwa Lodge is built in the style of an Edwardian manor house. Stone walls, deep verandas, high ceilings, stately furniture, silverware and ornamental pieces complete the picture.

There are 9 luxurious cottages (with a choice of one, 2 or 3 separate bedrooms) and an exclusive 4 bedroomed Villa.

Each cottage has a private infinity-edge pool overlooking ‘where the land stretches to forever’. The bedrooms with inviting 4 poster beds are beautifully appointed, displaying typical African influences with touches of wood, leather and grass, alongside crisp linens, imported chandeliers and hand-crafted furniture.

The Villa also has its own private pool.
