Check-In and Check-Out Times

Rooms may be occupied from 1 pm on the day of arrival. If possible, aim to arrive at the lodge around this time, but if you don't think you can arrive by this time, you should aim to arrive by 3 pm at the very latest, or else you may miss the afternoon drive.

Rooms must please be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure for the convenience of arriving guests. Late departure times can be arranged at the lodge, subject to availability of rooms.

Published Rates Include

Breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, tea / coffee, 2 open Land Rover safaris a day and walking safaris, all drinks, including premium wines, spirits and liqueurs (excluding champagnes), return road transfers from the Singita airstrip to the lodge and laundry / valet services are included. IN ADDITION: For all visitors, there is an entrance fee of R30 per person (R40 per person effective 1st September 2012) to enter the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, payable IN CASH at the entrance gate. Self-drive visitors must ALSO pay a R150 per vehicle (R160 per vehicle effective 1st September 2012) cash entrance fee. All rates subject to change. For guests arriving and departing via FedAir, the landing / departure fees are also excluded (payable directly to the lodge - rates on request).

Children Policy

Children aged 10 years and older are welcome. Adult rates apply. Children under 10 can only be accommodated IF the entire lodge is block-booked by the same group of family - rates available on request.

Other Useful Information

Facilities at the lodge include a lounge and timber-deck dining areas overlooking the Sand River, bar area and open boma, gymnasium, health spa, library, wine cellar and swimming pool.

The sole use of Land Rovers can be arranged upon request, subject to availability, and will be at an additional charge.

Other activities that can be arranged include community tours.

Internet, satellite TV and fax facilities are available.

Laundry and valet services: Singita operates a small on-site laundry for the convenience of guests. Their location in an ecologically sensitive conservation area compels them to limit the amount of water consumed and the amount of effluent produced. For this reason, whilst they are pleased to take care of your day to day laundry requirements at Singita, the lodge cannot handle large loads that have accumulated on your trip. Large laundry loads (in excess of 10 items per person) will have to be done at an outside facility and will require a 72 hour turnaround time.
