Shepherd's Tree Game Lodge

Shepherd’s Tree Game Lodge is situated on a concession within the malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park.

Safari goers here can enjoy exclusive traversing on the concession during morning and afternoon game drives, as well as being able to access and drive on all the Park’s public roads too.

Guests can also participate in guided walking trails in the untouched neighbouring wilderness area.

The Pilanesberg National Park neighbours Sun City, and is less than a 2 hour drive from Johannesburg. The Park itself is centred around an extinct volcano.

It is home to over 7,000 animals including the Big 5 (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo), giraffe, hippo, zebra, jackal, hyena and many antelope.

There are also over 350 bird species.

Shepherd's Tree Game Lodge offers 26 standard rooms and 4 executive suites. The suites all open up to beckoning views of the distant bushveld valley. The standard rooms can also be converted into 2 bedroomed suites if required, including an adjoining private lounge area.

The magnificent main lodge provides all the necessary facilities and amenities, including a restaurant, bar, wine cellar, lounge, internet station, swimming pool and deck, and a boma, and a health & Beauty Spa, offering a range of indulgent treatments.
