Perfectly located to give easy access to the excellent game-viewing areas of the Central Region, Satara is one of the largest camps in the Park, with open spaces, an abundance of birdlife, and a very pleasant atmosphere. There is a petrol station, a well-stocked shop, restaurant and cafeteria, and a fuel station.

Accommodation is in bungalows, cottages or 3 larger guest houses.

Accommodation only basis. PLEASE NOTE: Park fees are NOT included - these are as follows and are payable at the Park gate on arrival: From 1 November 2011 until the end of October 2012 - R192 per adult / R96 per child per day plus a one-off vehicle entrance fee of R48 per vehicle. All rates are subject to change. Reduced fees apply for SA citizens - rates on request.

Children of any age are welcome. Rates available on request.
