Rhino Post Safari Lodge is set on the banks of the Mutlumuvi Riverbed, in a 12,000 hectare private wilderness concession in the Kruger National Park. This unique wilderness area offers ecotourists the ideal place for encounters with the Big Five and allows visitors to track elephant and rhino on foot or view them from the comfort of open safari vehicles.
The nature of a wilderness area is that there are no permanent structures, so Rhino Post Safari Lodge was built using natural materials of stone, wood, thatch and canvas to create an authentic bush ambience. Each luxury suite is exquisitely decorated and includes bedroom and lounge with impressive views of the riverbed from the bathroom, outdoor shower and decked patio.
Following a game drive, guests can relax in the revitalising swimming pool, take in the views from the shaded patio and watch the abundant wildlife amble down to the waterhole.
Sumptuous meals are served in the camp's dining area, which is set under magnificent Tamboti trees.
The lounge, with its extensive wine cellar, cosy fireplace and bar, is the perfect spot for a sundowner.
With just 8 suites accommodating a maximum of 16 guests in total, Rhino Post Safari Lodge offers an intimate safari experience.
The suites have a thatched roof and canvas walls, and are raised on stilts all overlooking the riverbed. Each suite has an en-suite bathroom with an outside shower, a private wooden deck, mini bar, overhead fan and telephone.

Rhino Post and Plains Camp were super. They do the little things that make it special. We'd go back again. At Rhino there was a bottle of sparkling in our room on arrival, hot water bottles in the beds, quiet game drives and just the two of us on the first one, great wine cellar and the walks and guides were fantastic.
Travel Butlers itself was superb! We learned that you requested certain rooms for us and everything was arranged flawlessly and at a great price. We would certainly call on Natasha again and recommend the company to friends and family.
