Check-In and Check-Out Times

Rooms may be occupied from 2 pm on the day of arrival. If possible, aim to arrive at the lodge around this time, so you can check into your room and relax before your first afternoon game drive, but if you don't think you can arrive by this time, you should aim to arrive by 3 pm at the very latest, or else you may miss the afternoon drive.

Rooms must please be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure for the convenience of arriving guests.

Published Rates Include

3 meals daily including all teas and coffees, 2 scheduled game drives daily in an open 4x4 safari vehicle, accompanied by an experienced ranger and tracker OR canoeing OR river boat cruises on the Mzinene River, interactive bush walks (one hour) accompanied by an experienced armed tracker, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, soft drinks and bottled water, laundry service and emergency medical evacuation insurance are included.

The rates excludes all other extras, any road or air transfers to and from the lodge and all airport taxes.

Children Policy

Children of any age are welcome. Rates available on request. Children under 6 are not allowed on game drives. Children aged 6 to 11 are allowed on game drives at the Lodge Manager's discretion.

Other Useful Information

A private Land Rover can be pre-booked, subject to availability. This will be an additional cost - rates available on request Current rate: R4500 per vehicle per day, (subject to change).

Game drives normally last approximately 3 - 4 hours, and depart at the following times:

Spring and summer (September - March): Morning game drive 5:30 am; Afternoon / evening game drive 4pm
Autumn and winter (April - August): Morning game drive 6 am; Afternoon / evening game drive 3:30 pm
