One of the finest game-viewing experiences, Phinda features not only the Big 5, but a plethora of other animals and birds within its 22,000 hectares, which encompasses 7 distinct habitats - dry sand forest, savanna, woodland and wetland systems, beautiful river courses, mountain ranges, marshes and pans.
Phinda Private Game Reserve is home to 5 magnificent lodges, each with it's own individual charm and character.
Or catch sight of some of Phinda's incredible birdlife while paddling along the river in a sturdy canoe, or watch a magnificent sunrise or sunset while enjoying a leisurely cruise along the Mzinene River in Phinda's riverboat.
Savour delicious and innovative meals on the expansive viewing decks, or in a dramatic bush setting near the Lodge.
3 meals daily including all teas and coffees, 2 scheduled game drives daily in an open 4x4 safari vehicle, accompanied by an experienced ranger and tracker OR canoeing OR river boat cruises on the Mzinene River, interactive bush walks (one hour) accompanied by an experienced armed tracker, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, soft drinks and bottled water, laundry service and emergency medical evacuation insurance are included.
The rate excludes all other extras, any road or air transfers to and from the lodge and all airport taxes.
Children of any age are welcome. Rates available on request. Children under 6 are not allowed on game drives, but shortened game drives (FOC) may be arranged with the lodge subject to availability of Land Rovers and rangers. Children aged 6 to 11 are allowed on game drives at the Lodge Manager's discretion. Children under 12 are not allowed on bush walks. Babysitting services are available.
