Superbly located on the high plateau of the Pakamisa Mountain, Pakamisa Lodge offers an unforgettable African experience in this private malaria-free game reserve. For horse lovers, the Pakamisa Arabian Stud is a paradise. Experienced riders can enjoy the unparalleled adventure of a sunrise horseback safari, followed by a bush breakfast.

Although not a Big 5 reserve, you may see giraffe, impala, warthog, jackal, zebra, bushbuck, vervet monkey, ostrich and kudu as you are out on your ride.

Even if you are not a rider, you will not fail to be impressed by the sheer beauty and power of these thoroughbred stallions and mares.

The 8 spacious, tastefully-decorated suites offer the highest standards for comfort and complete relaxation.

Each en-suite room, comprising a bedroom, lounge, deluxe-bathroom, wardrobe and veranda, is fully equipped with mini bar and tea / coffee making facilities.

The rooms have been individually styled after an African animal, a theme picked up in valuable paintings and local artefacts. All rooms have stunning views over the reserve.
