Okonjima Main Camp

Directions

Okonjima Main Camp is midway between Windhoek and Etosha National Park, off the B1.

From Windhoek
Take the B1 north to Okahandja, and then from Okahandja take the B1 north to Otjiwarongo. Follow this road for about 130 km until you see a gravel turn-off signposted Okonjima on your left-hand side just after the sign 'Otjiwarongo 50 km'. Follow the well-signed gravel road for about 24 km to Okonjima Bush Camp. At times the road may be flooded, but someone will be there waiting to advise and assist you if required.

From Etosha (Western Gate)
Take the C38 to Otjiwarongo, and then the B1 south to Windhoek. Take the gravel turn-off signposted Okonjima on your right-hand side just after the sign 'Okahandja 130 km', and follow the directions as above.

From Etosha (Eastern Gate)
Take the C38 from the Park, and turn right at the T-junction onto the B1 to Windhoek. Take the gravel turn-off signposted Okonjima on your right-hand side just after the sign 'Okahandja 130 km', and follow the directions as above.

From Swakopmund
Take the B2 towards Windhoek, and at Okahandja, turn left onto the B1 northwards to Otjiwarongo. Follow this road for about 130 km until you see a gravel turn-off signposted Okonjima on your left-hand side just after the sign 'Otjiwarongo 50 km', and follow the directions as above.
