Check-In and Check-Out Times

Rooms may normally be occupied from 2 pm on the day of arrival. If possible, aim to arrive at the lodge around this time, so you can check into your room and relax before your first afternoon game drive, but if you don't think you can arrive by this time, you should aim to arrive by 3 pm at the very latest, or else you may miss the afternoon drive.

Rooms must normally please be vacated by 11.30 am on the day of departure for the convenience of arriving guests.

Published Rates Include

Traditional bush breakfast, buffet high tea / lunch, 3-course dinner, local soft drinks, house wines and beers, one bag of laundry per stay per couple, 2 game drives and a bush walk per day are included. IN ADDITION: For all visitors, there is an entrance fee of R30 per person to enter the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, payable IN CASH at the entrance gate. Self-drive visitors must ALSO pay a R150 per vehicle cash entrance fee. All rates subject to change. For guests arriving and departing via FedAir, the landing / departure fees are also excluded (payable directly to the lodge - rates on request).

Children Policy

Children aged 6 years and older are welcome. Rates available on request. Bush walks for the younger children can be arranged. Children are allowed on game drives. Baby sitting can also be arranged.

Other Useful Information

Credit card facilities are NOT available at Notten's Bush Camp.

A private Land Rover and ranger are available (subject to availability) - price on request.

The lodge has a sparkling swimming pool. The open-plan lounge and dining area leads onto a wooden deck overlooking a vast plain and waterhole. There is also an open air boma for evenings around the fire.
