Notten's Bush Camp is one of the best-kept secrets of the world-renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve. This friendly and informal family-run lodge, now in its 3rd generation, offers a unique blend of luxury and comfort, balanced with the sheer simplicity and natural atmosphere of the bush.

Enjoy candlelit baths, mesmerizing nights around blazing fires and close encounters with Africa's Big 5 at this world class establishment, situated in one of the finest natural sanctuaries. The game viewing is exceptional, including lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, hyena and hippo, as well as many species of antelope.

Experience the enchantment of the bush as day breaks from the vantage point of your open Land Rover. After a hearty breakfast, enjoy a guided walk, or laze by the sparkling pool, enjoy a spa treatment, or simply relax in the cool shade of the wooden veranda overlooking the plains.

After a superb afternoon tea, return to the wilderness of the savanna to view abundant wildlife and honour the setting sun with a traditional sundowner. Back at the lodge, enjoy the sounds of the African night while dining in the boma beneath the stars.

With no electricity, candles and lanterns cast an ambient light to the elegantly styled private chalets after sunset. Each chalet has its own private veranda, and en-suite bathroom, some with outside showers.

Along with the warmth and hospitality of your hosts, and the experienced rangers and trackers who ensure their guests have an enlightening exposure to the magnificent and unrivalled wildlife of the area, the result is an unforgettable and romantic bush experience.

Price Guide: From ZAR2905 ( approx U$ 391 ) per person. Special Offers may apply - prices on request.

Traditional bush breakfast, buffet high tea / lunch, 3-course dinner, local soft drinks, house wines and beers, one bag of laundry per stay per couple, 2 game drives and a bush walk per day are included. IN ADDITION: For all visitors, there is an entrance fee of R30 per person to enter the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, payable IN CASH at the entrance gate. Self-drive visitors must ALSO pay a R120 per vehicle cash entrance fee (R150 from 1st January 2012). All rates subject to change. For guests arriving and departing via FedAir, the landing / departure fees are also excluded (payable directly to the lodge - rates on request).

Children aged 6 years and older are welcome. Rates available on request. Bush walks for the younger children can be arranged. Children are allowed on game drives. Baby sitting can also be arranged.
