Motswiri Private Safari Lodge lies hidden deep in the heart of the 76,000 hectare malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve. Africa's Big 5, the African wild dog (the world's most endangered canine), as well as black and white rhino, cheetah, giraffe and many other wildlife species can be seen on morning and afternoon game drives.

Motswiri is an exclusive lodge offering a unique and intimate bush experience. The lodge offers some of the best views in Madikwe as well as the feeling of tranquility given by the mature trees (mostly leadwoods).

The exquisitely appointed main lodge overlooks a waterhole frequented by elephant families and other big game. There is a separate lounge and dining area, each with its own roaring fire in winter. Dining also takes place in the outside boma on balmy summer nights.

The wrap around viewing deck has a rim-flow pool, ideal for relaxing around inbetween your game drives.

The lodge also offers a range of spa treatments, enjoyed in the privacy of your own room.

Motswiri offers the option of either individual bookings or exclusive use of the whole lodge, making it ideal for celebrations or family groups.

Five luxury double bedrooms are available around the main lodge. The 3 bedroom family villa is fully equipped, and can be booked as a self-catering option or full board option. The 3 bedrooms all lead onto the private lounge area which in turns leads out onto a private deck and pool.
