Daily Conservation Fees are as follows:

These daily fees are payable upon entry into the Addo Elephant National Park, and is also due for every additional day that you spend in the Park, which is payable directly to the Camp. Please note that these rates are subject to change.

Your accommodation will be serviced daily between 9 am and 12 noon. Sheets will be changed every 2-3 days, and towels will be changed every day. Please do not hesitate to ask the staff for extra soap, towels, blankets, etc.

Taking a guided game drive is certainly recommended. The views are better from the elevation of a game-drive vehicle, and the guides are able to drive on roads that are not open to the general public. As the animals are accustomed to the Land Rovers, they wander quite closely by, giving you an incredibly close encounter. Guided game drives leave the Main Camp in the Park every 2-3 hours throughout the day, and these can be booked from Reception when you check in, or ideally we would recommending booking them in advance by either emailing the game drive office direct on addogamedrives@sanparks.org or calling them on +27 (0) 42 233 8622. Children under the age of 6 years not allowed on these drives. You need to check in at least 30 minutes prior to the game drive at the Game Drive Office.

Guided Game Drives rates are as follows. Each drive needs a minimum of 2 people and prices are person. Each game drive lasts approximately 2 hours. Children aged between 6 years and under 12 years pay half price.

Sunrise 6 am departure : R150
Morning 9 am departure : R150
Midday departure : R150
Afternoon 3 pm departure : R150
Sundowner 6 pm departure : R230 including snacks & drinks
Night drive 8 pm departure : R170

Please note that rates are subject to change.

Addo / Zuurberg horse trails can also be prebooked by calling / emailing the game drive office. The morning Addo ride is for less experienced riders and is 2 hours long. The afternoon ride is for experienced riders and is 3 hours long. All horse trails are conducted by experienced guides on sure-footed, well-trained horses. Riding hats are available for visitors use. No children younger than 16 years may ride on the Addo Trail. The Zuurberg horse trails are suitable for riders of all competencies and wind through fynbos and forest. One, 3 and 5 hour trails are available. No children younger than 10 years may ride on the Zuurberg horse trails.

Credit cards are accepted for payment of activities (except for the Zuurberg horse trails), shop purchases and restaurant meals.
