Directions

From Johannesburg or Pretoria
Take N1 North towards Pietersburg. Ensure you have cash on you at this stage, as this road has several toll gates.

At the Kranskop Toll Gate go left towards Modimolle (Nylstroom) on the R33. Pass through Modimolle and head in the direction of Vaalwater. Pass directly through Vaalwater and continue until you see the signs for the Welgevonden Private Game Reserve. Keep going until you see the turn-off for the Welgevonden Main Gate on your left-hand side.

PLEASE NOTE: Daily pick up at the Main Gate is at 1 pm - please do your best to comply. WHEN PASSING THROUGH VAALWATER PLEASE CALL THE LODGE ON 082 339 4499 SO THAT THEY CAN ARRANGE TO HAVE THE RANGER WAITING FOR YOU.
