Check-In and Check-Out Times

Rooms may be occupied from 2 pm on the day of arrival. If possible, aim to arrive at the lodge by this time, so you can relax and check into your room before going out on your first afternoon game drive, but if you don't think you can arrive by this time, you should aim to arrive by 3 pm at the very latest, or else you may miss the afternoon drive. Please be advised that ALL the gates into the reserve close at 8 pm.

Rooms must please be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure for the convenience of arriving guests.

Published Rates Include

House wines, local beers and spirits, soft drinks and mineral waters, breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, tea / coffee and cakes, lunch (on day of arrival and departure if required), 2 game drives each day in open 4-wheel drive vehicles, spotlight game drives at night, game walks accompanied by an experienced ranger, transfers from the air strip in Madikwe Game Reserve, visits to hides and use of gym are included. PLEASE NOTE: All other drinks are NOT included. For guests arriving and departing via FedAir, the landing / departure fees are also excluded and are payable directly to the lodge (rates on request).

Children Policy

Children of any age are accepted (over certain periods only). Rates and dates available on request.

Makanyane's private gate will be attended in anticipation of your arrival. If possible, it would be greatly appreciated if you could confirm your time of arrival while en-route to the lodge - 014 778 9600.
