Stay for 3 nights for the price of 2 at Madikwe Safari Lodge in the Madikwe Game Reserve. Includes all meals, teas and coffees, 2 scheduled game drives daily in an open 4x4 safari vehicle, accompanied by an experienced ranger and tracker, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, soft drinks and bottled water, laundry service and emergency medical evacuation insurance.

The rate excludes all other extras, any road or air transfers to and from the lodge, all airport taxes and applicable Madikwe entrance fees.

Madikwe Safari Lodge is in a malaria-free area.

Children under 12 years are welcome.

Valid for travel between 6 April 2010 and 30 September 2010. Valid for stays between Sunday and Thursday nights ONLY - so not applicable for stays on a Friday or a Saturday.

Madikwe Safari Lodge

Madikwe Safari Lodge is situated in the heart of the malaria-free 76,000 hectare Madikwe Game Reserve. As well as elephant, lion, leopard, rhino and buffalo, the reserve is also home to wild dog, cheetah, plains game including gemsbok, springbok, zebra and giraffe, and over 340 species of birds.

Set on a gentle slope nestled between 2 rolling hills, Madikwe Safari Lodge comprises of 3 separate, intimate camps - West, North and East. Professional and skilled rangers deliver a world-class interpretive experience of the bush on morning and afternoon game-drives in open safari vehicles.

Overlooking Madikwe's game-filled plains, the main guest areas in each camp feature cosy sitting and dining areas, as well as expansive viewing decks.

In the evenings, dzens of lanterns cast a romantic light over these intimate and simply sophisticated areas.

The nearby boma is the setting for evocative starlit dinners, with delicious and unique regional cuisine, simply prepared with an African flavour.

There are 17 chalets, split between the North and East camps. Each chalet features a sitting area, a bedroom with circular fireplace, a spacious dressing area with personal bar, and an en-suite bathroom. French doors opening onto wooden decking lead to inviting private plunge pools.

The very private West Camp, which consists of just 4 suites, can be booked on an exclusive basis, which is ideal for friends or families travelling together.
