Check-In and Check-Out Times

Rooms may be occupied from 12 midday on the day of arrival. If possible, aim to arrive at the lodge by this time, so you can relax and check into your room, and enjoy high tea before going out on your first afternoon game drive, but if you don't think you can arrive by this time, you should aim to arrive by 3 pm at the very latest, or else you may miss the afternoon drive. Please be advised that ALL the gates into the reserve close at 8 pm.

Rooms must please be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure for the convenience of arriving guests.

Published Rates Include

All meals, tea / coffee, 2 scheduled game drives, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, soft drinks and bottled water and a laundry service are included. PLEASE NOTE: For self-drive visitors, the cash entrance fee of R150 per adult and R100 per child (subject to change) to enter the reserve is NOT included. For guests arriving and departing via FedAir, the landing / departure fees are also excluded and are payable directly to the lodge (rates on request).

Children Policy

Children of any age are welcome. Rates available on request. Children under 6 are not allowed on game drives, but shortened game drives (FOC) may be arranged with the lodge subject to availability of Land Rovers and rangers. Children aged 6 to 11 are allowed on game drives at the Lodge Manager's discretion. Children under 12 are not allowed on bush walks. Babysitting services are available.

Other Useful Information

Children 5 years and younger cannot participate in the regular game drives nor nature walks outside the boundaries of the lodge. Children 6 to 11 years of age will be permitted to participate in the regular game drives at the discretion of the lodge manager and/or ranger, but cannot participate in nature walks outside the boundaries of the lodge. Shortened game drives may be arranged (FOC) with the lodge subject to availability of land rovers and rangers. These services cannot be pre-booked.

Early dinners for children are always available.

Child minders are available in the evenings as well as during game-drives but must be booked on the day of arrival at the lodge and payment is made directly to the lodge on departure.
