Check-In and Check-Out Times

Rooms may normally be occupied from 2 pm on the day of arrival. If possible, aim to arrive at the lodge around this time, so you can check into your room and relax before your first afternoon game drive, but if you don't think you can arrive by this time, you should aim to arrive by 3 pm at the very latest, or else you may miss the afternoon drive.

Rooms must normally please be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure for the convenience of arriving guests.

Published Rates Include

All meals, tourism levy and 2 activities (choose from guided game drive, horse riding or bush walk) per day are included.

Children Policy

Children of any age are welcome. Rates available on request. Children under 5 are not allowed on game drives into the lion enclosure.

Other Useful Information

Each chalet has air-conditioning, an en-suite bathroom and a telephone. There are no TVs in the rooms.

Hot and sunny afternoons can be spent at the lodge's sparkling pool, or in the Buck and Lion bar, where one of Mabula's wild and wonderful cocktails can be enjoyed.

For culinary connoisseurs Mabula has much to offer and the lodge is renowed for its variety of beautiful and unusual dining venues. The Ko Bojelong Restaurant boasts a varied menu, attentive service and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. For the romantic at heart, Mabula offers a candle-lit boma dinner in the Ndlovu thatched boma, under a clear star-filled African sky, accompanied by the rhythmic repertoire of traditional African dancers.
