Situated in a dense riverine forest overlooking the Sand River, Founders Camp offers breathtaking views of the bushveld and African wildlife in the heart of the famous Londolozi Private Game Reserve, a 14,000 hectare exclusive safari destination forming part of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve which adjoins the Greater Kruger National Park.

This intimate safari camp welcomes you into the heart of the Londolozi experience. Explore the reserve and its diverse wildlife on interpretive morning and afternoon / evening game-drives or join a fascinating bush walk in the company of an experienced ranger.

Founders Camp comprises comfortable sitting areas which lead to an elevated wooden walkway ending in a relaxing game viewing deck - perfect for watching herds of waterbuck grazing on the riverbank.

Delicious Pan-African cuisine is served in the boma (outdoor dining area), or on the dining deck overlooking the river.

Londolozi is renowned for wonderful bush banqueting in scenic wilderness settings.

Londolozi is world-renowned for its exceptional safari accommodation and was the first private game reserve in the world to be awarded prestigious Relais & Chateaux membership.

Each of the 5 chalets and one suite are air-conditioned, and all feature a beautiful glass-walled bathroom with enticing wilderness views.

A sparkling swimming pool is contoured to complement the curves of the Sand River.

3 meals daily including all teas and coffees, 2 scheduled game drives daily in an open 4x4 safari vehicle, accompanied by an experienced ranger and tracker, interactive bush walks (one hour) accompanied by an experienced armed tracker, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, soft drinks and bottled water, and laundry service are included.

The rate excludes all other extras, any road or air transfers to and from the lodge, all airport taxes and applicable Sabi Sand entrance fees.

Children of any age are welcome. Rates available on request. Children under 6 are not allowed on game drives, but shortened game drives (FOC) may be arranged with the lodge subject to availability of Land Rovers and rangers. Children aged 6 to 11 are allowed on game drives at the Lodge Manager's discretion. Children under 12 are not allowed on bush walks. Babysitting services are available.
