Check-In and Check-Out Times

Rooms may be occupied from 12 midday on the day of arrival. If possible, aim to arrive at the lodge around this time, so you can check into your room and relax before your first afternoon game drive, but if you don't think you can arrive by this time, you should aim to arrive by 3 pm at the very latest, or else you may miss the afternoon drive.

Rooms must please be vacated by 10 am on the day of departure for the convenience of arriving guests.

Published Rates Include

All meals, drinks on game drives, local drinks (including house wine, soft drinks and juice, mineral water, local beers and some spirits) and activities are included.

PLEASE NOTE : Imported / premier drinks and liquors (including South African bottled wine) are NOT included.

Children aged 8 years and older are welcome. See individual periods for rates

Other Useful Information

As malaria is endemic to the area, it is essential to ensure that anti-malarial precautions be taken. Please consult your doctor prior to travel.

Game viewing: A water hole in front of the main building gives the opportunity to see gemsbok, springbok, bat-eared fox, aardwolf, ostrich and jackals. Spotted hyaenas can be heard at night.

Activites include: Nature drives into the desert in 3 x 10 seater and 1 x 6 seater 4x4 vehicles; Walking Trails; Visits to Bushman painting sites
Visit to Sossusvlei and Sesriem; Balloon safaris (additional cost, even if guests are on Fully Inclusive rate. Closed 15 January to 15 February);
Horse riding safari (on request and at an additional cost); The Scenic Sundowner tour is one of the best scenic safaris in the Namib. This exclusive tour is ended with a Champagne sundowner. Private vehicles can be booked at an additional cost, subject to availability.
