Little Ongava

The Etosha National Park is Namibia's premier wildlife park, and home to great concentrations of game. Little Ongava is situated within the Ongava Game Reserve, a 30,000 hectare private reserve which is located adjacent to the southern boundary of the Etosha Park.

Little Ongava is built along the crest of a hill with wonderful views onto the plains below. With only 3 suites, it is a very intimate and private experience, and all guests share a dedicated guide and Land Rover to ensure optimum nature viewing at one of Africa's great wildlife destinations.

Activities include morning guided game drives in an open Land Rover into the Okaukuejo area of Etosha, where it is possible to see elephant, lion and many plains game including springbok, gemsbok, giraffe and hartebeest.

Guests can also enjoy day and night drives on the private reserve, which is home to resident white and black rhino. Tracking them on foot is a highlight.

Walks with a guide are also available, as are visits to a hide overlooking a waterhole.

The accommodation at Little Ongava comprises of 3 luxuriously spacious suites.

Each suite has its own plunge pool, en-suite bathroom, a 'sala', an additional outdoor shower, and a superb view of the waterhole in front of the camp from the private veranda.

The main area lends itself to relaxed and stylish dining under the African sky or under thatch.

All meals, drinks on game drives, local drinks (including house wine, soft drinks and juice, mineral water, local beers, and some spirits) and activities are included.

The rates exclude all imported and premier drinks and liquors (including South African bottled wine), telephone, if applicable, curios and child minding, any road or air transfers to and from the lodge, all airport taxes and applicable entrance fees.
