Check-In and Check-Out Times

Guests are welcome to arrive any time from 12 midday. If possible, aim to arrive at the lodge around this time, so you can check into your room and relax before your first afternoon game drive, but if you don't think you can arrive by this time, you should aim to arrive by 3 pm at the very latest, or else you may miss the afternoon drive.

Rooms must please be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure for the convenience of arriving guests.

Published Rates Include

2 game drives in open Land Rovers, 3 meals daily, game drive refreshments, tea / coffee and Skukuza airport transfers are included. Subject to weather conditions, the rate also includes bush breakfasts and bush dinners, bush walks, full moon walks, wildlife lectures, safari lunches, hippopotamus river tour and astronomy. IN ADDITION: For all visitors, there is an entrance fee of R30 per person to enter the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, payable IN CASH at the entrance gate. Self-drive visitors must ALSO pay a R120 per vehicle cash entrance fee (R150 from 1st January 2012). All rates subject to change. For guests arriving and departing via FedAir, the landing / departure fees are also excluded (payable directly to the lodge - rates on request).

Children Policy

Children aged 10 years and older are welcome. Rates available on request. Children under 10 can only be accommodated IF the entire lodge is block-booked by the same group or family - rates available on request. Children under 16 years old are not allowed on bush walks.

Other Useful Information

A private Land Rover is available for hire (subject to availability) - rates available on request, and the Land Rover can be hired for a minimum 2 day period.

Activities that can be arranged at an additional cost include private Land Rover hire (exclusivity, specialist photography, bird watching), clay pigeon shooting, tree house experience, ballooning, cultural village visit, golf, helicopter flip over the Blyde River Canyon and God's Window.

There is a small gym for guests use if required.
