Directions

From the N2 (Cape Town International Airport / the Winelands / Hermanus / The Garden Route): Follow the N2 towards Cape Town. When you reach Cape Town, keep the mountain on your left and you will pass Groote Schuur Hospital on your right.

Keep in the left-hand lane closest to the mountain. The N2 then splits into the Eastern Boulevard (right) and the M3, de Waal Drive (left). Take the M3 and drive all the way down until you see an exit off to the left to Mill Street.

Take this exit, and you will see the Gardens Centre on your left. Go through the traffic lights, and follow the road round to the right, and you will pass the entrance to the Mount Nelson Hotel. At the 1st set of traffic lights after that, turn left into Rheede Street. Proceed to the T-junction and turn left into Kloof Street. You are now facing in the direction of the mountain.

Proceed up Kloof Street. Pass Park Road on the right, then a little shopping centre, then turn right into Kloof Nek Road. After about 100 metres, the road starts to bear left. At this point you will see a green vehicular gate straight ahead of you. There is a sign on the steel gate: Leeuwenvoet House - Guest Parking. Please beware of oncoming traffic! On the left-hand side of the gate there is an intercom. Press the intercom button and the receptionist will open the gate for you.
