Le Quartier Francais

Le Quartier Francais (the French Quarter) is a small, privately owned auberge situated in the French Huguenot valley of Franschhoek, in the heart of the Cape Winelands. The emphasis is on ultimate luxury and romantic charm, combined with the priceless gift of privacy, tucked away in the centre of the village.

The serious business of fine dining at Le Quartier has been set apart and defined by The Tasting Room. Course after course of exquisitely presented culinary delights offers diners the opportunity to indulge in a surprise 9 course menu - African inspired - or a 5 course choice menu. Both options can be enjoyed with a wine pairing.

The Common Room is Franschhoek's favourite foodie hangout; the perfect place to relax and linger with friends over a tasty dish or two.

Meet up for drinks and snacks or pop in, sans reservation, for a scrumptious dinner. The Common Room offers diners a menu packed full of lip smacking delights designed to serve as snacks or the building blocks of a more substantial meal.

A mosaic of beauty treatments is also available from the Treatment Room.

Guests can choose from a range of accommodation. The Auberge Rooms are all individually styled, and the Grande Rooms are ideal for honeymooners. The Petite Garden Suites look out onto their own secret corner garden, and large sliding doors spill open onto a private patio.

The Auberge Suites are ideal for families, as they offer the privacy of a secluded pool, and a loft section for children, plus a 2nd bathroom, and the Four Quarters Suites (2 upstairs and 2 downstairs) are set around a private courtyard incorporating a pool.

Just across from the main hotel, the Cottage offers comfortable accommodation for the whole family, with 2 en-suite bedrooms. a fully furnished kitchen, laundry room and 2 spacious lounge areas that open onto a private plunge pool.
