Only 2 hours from Port Elizabeth lies the 25,000 hectare malaria-free Kwandwe Private Game Reserve. In the heart of the reserve, set in a beautiful location overlooking the Fish river and afromontane forests, Melton Manor is a sole-use safari villa, and is the perfect escape for a family safari, as it accommodates up to 8 guests.
The elegant and simple design incorporates earthy, organic finishes - with deep inviting sofas and gorgeous Nguni rugs, and celebrates the style of early frontier days.
Fascinating nocturnal animals such as aardvark, aardwolf, porcupine, Cape fox, bat-eared fox and spring hare are regularly encountered on exciting night drives.
Inbetween drives, guests can enjoy relaxing around the large swimming pool and the central courtyard.

3 meals daily including all teas and coffees, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, soft drinks and bottled water, 2 scheduled game-drives daily in an open 4 x 4 safari vehicle, accompanied by an experienced ranger and tracker, interpretive nature walks daily (one hour) accompanied by an experienced armed tracker, transfers in a game-drive vehicle from Heatherton (Reception and parking area) to the lodge, laundry and valet service and emergency medical evacuation insurance are included.
