In the heart of the reserve, set in a beautiful location overlooking the Fish river and afromontane forests, Melton Manor is a sole-use safari villa, and is the perfect escape for a family safari, as it accommodates up to 8 guests.

Your private ranger will lead you on interpretive, twice-daily game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles, bringing you close to Africa's Big 5.

Fascinating nocturnal animals such as aardvark, aardwolf, porcupine, Cape fox, bat-eared fox and spring hare are regularly encountered on exciting night drives.

The 4 en-suite bedrooms feature innovative 'butler hatches' for discreet room service and the interactive kitchen will be a cosy place where guests can muck in with Melton Manor's expert chef.

Inbetween drives, guests can enjoy relaxing around the large swimming pool and the central courtyard.

3 meals daily including all teas and coffees, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, soft drinks and bottled water, 2 scheduled game-drives daily in an open 4 x 4 safari vehicle, accompanied by an experienced ranger and tracker, interpretive nature walks daily (one hour) accompanied by an experienced armed tracker, transfers in a game-drive vehicle from Heatherton (Reception and parking area) to the lodge, laundry and valet service are included.
