Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge
Pilanesburg National Park is an attractive 50,000 hectare malaria-free area which is centred around an extinct volcano crater. Today, the Park is home to over 7,000 animals including the Big 5, giraffe, hippo, zebra, jackal, hyena and many antelope, and there are also over 350 bird species.
At Kwa Maritane, guests experience excellent game sightings on bush walks or game drives in the company of qualified guides. The focal point of the sunrise and afternoon game drives is game and bird identification, and costs R200 per person. The lodge's 130 metre underground tunnel leading to the Hide further provides guests with a close-up glimpse of the wild.
As well as game drives, the lodge has many entertainment options on offer - from tennis courts to 2 magnificent swimming pools and outdoor chess.
And with Sun City minutes away, guests can enjoy a game of golf at the Gary Player course or choose between bowls, squash, ten-pin bowling and an exceptional variety of water sports.
All rooms have air-conditioning, satellite TV, direct dialling phone, tea / coffee making machines and a hair dryer.
There is a shuttle service between the lodge and Sun City.
Breakfast and dinner are included. Game drives are additional.
