Klein-Aus Vista Eagle's Nest

Situated 2 km west of Aus on the B4, and 115 km from Luderitz, Klein-Aus Vista is the perfect base from which to explore the fascinating Southern Namib. Only 7 km drive from the main lodge, Eagle's Nest offers absolute peace and privacy. The 7 unique stone bungalows, built around gigantic granite boulders, each have their own veranda, from where breathtaking sunsets over the Namib desert and beautiful starry nights can be enjoyed.

Guests can also enjoy exclusive sundowner trips out to view the Namib horses, or several hiking trails.

A 7 km drive from the main Desert Horse Inn Lodge, the Eagle's Nest chalets are private self-catering retreats, each built individually, combining natural elements and boulders into their interiors in a rustic and luxurious blend.

Guests can cook their own meals, or choose to eat at the main Desert Horse Inn restaurant.

Activities include hiking, mountain biking and horse trails.
