Kicheche Valley
Kicheche Valley (formerly known as Naboisho Camp) is situated in the Naboisho Conservancy (a 50,000 acre area) that lies to the far east of the Mara / Serengeti eco system. This exclusive camp consists of just 6 luxury safari tents which lie amongst the trees and rocky outcrops and enjoy wonderful views of the game filled plains to the south.
Naboisho, which in Masai means 'coming together' is a community driven initiative to create a wildlife conservation and tourism area that supports the livelihoods of the landowners and surrounding communities.
Naboisho is a bird watchers paradise, and several bird species rarely seen elsewhere in the Mara such as white headed buffalo weavers, northern white-crowned shrike, pygmy falcon, Von-der Deckens hornbills, bush pipits are commonly seen.
Each tent is spacious, and equipped with large beds, bedside tables, luggage racks, lounge sofa, desk and rugs.
Bathrooms are en-suite and are equipped with a dresser, shower, flushing toilet and running water.
