Kambaku Lodge
Kambaku is situated in the Timbavati Game Reserve in the Northern Province, South Africa. For millions of years, the Timbavati has remained untouched, retaining its wild rugged character and is home to all of Africa's big game.
At Kambaku, you will find a refuge - a place of exquisite beauty and peace set amidst several thousand hectares of pristine Timbavati Wilderness, which is part of the greater Kruger Park Ecosystem. You will return restored and rejuvenated - having absorbed the magical energy and spiritual presence inherent to the bush - a natural 'tonic' that everyone should experience on a regular basis.
The reserve consists of prime wildlife habitat situated on the unfenced western boundary of the world-famous Kruger National Park, a conservation area of more than 2 million hectares (over 5 million acres).
Each of the 7 thatched chalets have en-suite bathrooms with both a shower and a bath.
Lanterns for light, eco-friendly battery power for fans and gas geysers for hot water are just some of the specifics that ensure an original but still luxurious rustic bush experience.
2 safaris (game drives) daily, a guided walking trail, full breakfast, lunch, teas, coffees and dinner are included.
The rate excludes your personal bar account, sundowner drinks, telephone, curios, laundry service, any road or air transfers to and from the lodge, all airport taxes and applicable Timbavati vehicle entrance / Conservation fees.
Children of any age are welcome. Rates available on request. Children are allowed on game drives at the rangers discretion. Babysitting services are available.
