Check-In and Check-Out Times

Rooms may be occupied from 2 pm on the day of arrival. If possible, aim to arrive at the lodge by this time, so you can relax and check into your room before going out on your first afternoon game drive, but if you don't think you can arrive by this time, you should aim to arrive by 3 pm at the very latest, or else you may miss the afternoon drive. Please be advised that ALL the gates into the reserve close at 8 pm.

Rooms must please be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure for the convenience of arriving guests.

Published Rates Include

Luxury Suite: All meals, teas, snacks, bush walks and morning / afternoon game drives are included.

Family Safari Suite: All meals, teas, snacks, bush walks and morning / afternoon game drives in your own private game viewing vehicle with a dedicated ranger and tracker are included.

Deluxe Safari Suite: All meals prepared by your own private chef and served in the Suite, a personal butler, morning / afternoon game drives in your own private game viewing vehicle with a dedicated ranger and tracker and all local beverages and a selection of wines are included.

PLEASE NOTE: FOR ANY BOOKING - The tourism bed levy is NOT included. For self-drive visitors, the cash entrance fee of R150 per adult and R100 per child (subject to change) to enter the reserve is also not included. For guests arriving and departing via FedAir, the landing / departure fees are also excluded and are payable directly to the lodge (rates on request).

Children Policy

Children of any age are welcome. Rates available on request. Children under 6 are not allowed on game drives UNLESS the Family Safari Option is booked. Children under 12 are not allowed on bush walks. Babysitting services are available.

Other Useful Information

A private Land Rover can be pre-booked, subject to availability. This will be an additional cost - rates available on request.

Any meals required outside of the check-in or check-out time will be charged against the guest account.

As the lodge is a licenced establishment, corkage will be levied on any beverage items brought in by guests.

There is an additional Bed Levy of R5.70 per person per night, which will be added to your room account at the lodge, for you to settle directly with them at the end of your stay.
