Impodimo Game Lodge is located on the malaria free Madikwe Game Reserve, which boasts 76,000 hectares of Big 5 game viewing territory.

As well as elephant, lion, leopard, rhino and buffalo, the reserve is also home to wild dog, cheetah, plains game including gemsbok, springbok, zebra and giraffe, and over 340 species of birds.

Qualified and enthusiastic rangers take great pleasure in interpreting the sights and sounds of the Madikwe Game Reserve during dawn and dusk / night game drives in open Land Rovers.

The lodge is set along a rocky ridge commanding stunning vistas of the reserve.

The main lodge has an elevated sun deck surrounding a pool, boma, library, curio shop and wine cellar.

Each of the 8 glass fronted luxury suites all enjoy uninterrupted views over the reserve from a private deck. The suites all have full en-suite facilities including outside showers. They are also air-conditioned, and have feature fireplaces and a fully stocked mini bar fridge.

The Deluxe Safari option is for that special occasion or for those looking for the last word in luxury, exclusivity and privacy. This safari option includes a private vehicle, with your very own ranger and tracker, a private chef, waitron and butler.

The Family Safari option offers stunning private accommodation for up to 2 adults and 2 children, all safe and secure under one roof. This safari option includes a private vehicle, and as the vehicle is for your exclusive use, safaris can be tailored to the special requirements of your family and can include even the youngest children.

Price Guide: From ZAR2595 ( approx U$ 340 ) per person. Special Offers may apply - prices on request.

Luxury Suite: All meals, teas, snacks, bush walks and morning / afternoon game drives are included.

Family Safari Suite: All meals, teas, snacks, bush walks and morning / afternoon game drives in your own private game viewing vehicle with a dedicated ranger and tracker are included.

Deluxe Safari Suite: All meals prepared by your own private chef and served in the Suite, a personal butler, morning / afternoon game drives in your own private game viewing vehicle with a dedicated ranger and tracker and all local beverages and a selection of wines are included.

PLEASE NOTE: FOR ANY BOOKING - The tourism bed levy is NOT included. For self-drive visitors, the cash entrance fee of R150 per adult and R100 per child (subject to change) to enter the reserve is also not included. For guests arriving and departing via FedAir, the landing / departure fees are also excluded and are payable directly to the lodge (rates on request).

Children of any age are welcome. Rates available on request. Children under 6 are not allowed on game drives UNLESS the Family Safari Option is booked. Children under 12 are not allowed on bush walks. Babysitting services are available.

"Impodimo Lodge was wonderful. So much personal attention to all our needs. It was extremely comfortable and relaxing.
