Rooms may be occupied from 2 pm on the day of arrival, and must please be vacated by 10 am on the day of departure for the convenience of arriving guests.

Accommodation only basis unless otherwise specified. B&B and DB&B package rates available on request. PLEASE NOTE: The rate EXCLUDES the Daily Conservation Levy, which is payable upon arrival at the camp - currently R110 per adult and 50% for children (subject to change).

Children Policy

Children of any age are welcome. Rates available on request.

Other Useful Information

Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Park is in a LOW RISK malaria area and visitors need to consult their doctors before visiting the area.

Gate Entry times:
Summer (1 October - 31 March): 5 am to 7 pm.
Winter (1 April- 30 Sept): 6 am - 6 pm.

Distance and time from Gate to Camp: 15 km / 45 minutes.

The office is open from 7 am to 7 pm.

Facilities: Restaurant, bar, coin operated laundry, 95 octane unleaded petrol and diesel (the nearest 97 octane petrol is available in Hluhluwe village), day and night game drives, boat tours. Game drives should be booked in advance. There is also a fully equipped shop selling a wide range of curios and supplies.

The nearest town which has a full range of services is Hluhluwe which is 25 km away.
