Hamilton's Tented Camp
Imbali Private Concession, Kruger National Park
Hamilton's Tented Camp
Named after Colonel Stephenson Hamilton, who was instrumental in establishing the world famous Kruger National Park, Hamilton's Tented Camp offers guests unparalleled luxury in an authentic tented camp.
Located in a private 18,000 hectare unfenced concession in the heart of the famous Kruger National Park, the camp reflects a true 'Out of Africa' traditional safari adventure of the early 20th century, where grace and style were the epitome luxurious living.
Some of the drives will be on the lodge's own concession, where your guide will have the opportunity to drive offroad to get you unbelievably close to the wildlife, but others may be in the Kruger Park itself, where your ranger will be restricted to remaining on the road network at all times.
Guests can enjoy silver service dining overlooking the river, or private dining and picnics can be arranged.
Guests can also enjoy a number of spa treatments ranging from foot massages to facials, all with a local Shangaan theme.
Each has a romantic slipper bath and outdoor shower overlooking the Ngwenyeni Dam, as well as a private veranda, open tented lounge, and a secluded swimming pool.
Raised walkways amongst ancient jackalberry trees link the tents to the main guest areas, and create a natural feeling of space and adventure.
