Check-In and Check-Out Times

Rooms may be occupied from 2 pm on the day of arrival, and must be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure for the convenience of arriving guests.

Welcome drink, 5 course dinner, breakfast buffet with full English breakfast menu, 3 course lunch or bistro menu after 2 pm, fresh fruit baskets daily, champagne on afternoon drive to the nearby coast, transfers to all activities & specified activities as outlined below:

Incredible walks including the Pincushion & Protea Trail; Morning or late afternoon walk in the Milkwood Forest with trees over a 1,000 years old; Coastal marine walks and swimming along snow-white 30 km beaches (beach umbrellas, towels all supplied by the lodge); A guided walk to Klipgat Cave, one of the world's most renowned archaeological middle-stone-age sites; 4 x 4 drives and walks in the richest botanical area in South Africa (Fynbos); Self-guided walks & trails; Horse riding for beginners and advanced riders through the private Fynbos Nature Reserve - kindly note that during April to October, they do not offer a 4 pm horse ride - please inform Reception on check in should you wish to go horse riding at 4 pm or later in order for the lodge to make the necessary arrangements.

Other Useful Information

Other activities that can be arranged for an additional cost are: Boat trips to Dyer Island; Shark Cage Diving and Scenic Flights.

Children under the age of 6 are not allowed in the restaurant. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the Forest Lodge.
